Where We’ve Been

First Loved Ministries was founded in 2006 by Mark Gordon Fee after his 17-year tenure as senior pastor of the Vineyard MetroNorth church in Melrose, MA. Mark has produced Biblically-based programs and music that specifically engage the church at large to help God’s people personally and tangibly experience God’s love, through training programs, worship events and prayer ministry. FLM is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry with a 7-member Board of Directors and 25 team members who assist with events. While FLM is not a church, the practices and programs that are taught by this ministry organization are well-suited for church family life.

WHO IS MARK FEE?

Mark Gordon Fee, president and founder of First Loved Ministries, is an engaging speaker and teacher known for his warm personality, fun and passionate teaching style, and gifted ability to make Scripture come alive. A dynamic worship leader and songwriter, Mark has also been playing piano, singing, and writing for most of his life. He excels in drawing people into a deep and intimate connection with the Lord through a dynamic flow of music and Scripture.

Mark received a BA in Christian Education with a minor in music performance from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. He continued his education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He is presently engaged in a doctoral degree in Discipleship from Talbot School of Theology. Mark is the son of Dr. Gordon Fee, a highly-esteemed Biblical scholar who’s written numerous commentaries and whose insights and teachings have profoundly influenced Mark’s ministry.

From 1988-2005, Mark served as the senior pastor of the Vineyard Metronorth church in Melrose, Ma. During his tenure he developed several programs to help his people to personally and tangibly experience God’s love and to begin to remove the various relational, emotional and mental barriers that interfered with that experience. In 2006, he founded “First Loved Ministries” in order to share these programs with the church at large. He also produced a music CD entitled Rejoice Over You that invites the listener to hear God’s words of love spoken and sung to them.

Mark and his wife Robin have five adult children and live in Danvers, MA.
